Finance Committee members are appointed by St. Cecilia’s Pastor, upon the recommendation of current finance committee members. The committee meets on a regular basis. The role of the Finance Committee is primarily to provide financial oversight for the Parish. Typical tasks for the group includes budgeting and financial planning, financial reporting and the monitoring of internal controls and accountability policies. They also review and approve any capital expenditures for parish improvements.
In addition to developing an annual budget, the Committee also sets long term financial goals to enable budgeting for upcoming activities within the Parish.
