Altar Servers

Any child that has reached the age of 9, and has completed the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Eucharist may have an active role in the Eucharistic Celebration at weekend Masses in addition to the Holy Days of Obligation, Christmas, Easter, Holy Week, Stations of the Cross and Confirmation.  At each Mass altar servers take an active part as cross-bearer, acolyte and book bearer. Families are also encouraged to take part where one or both parents may serve with their child.  Training takes place whenever a child expresses his or her interest in serving.
